Dara Woods talks to Pat Kenny

As part of Rare Disease week, Dara Woods talks to Pat Kenny on Newstalk radio. Dara describes how after years of unexplained and recurrent nosebleeds, she and her family received the diagnosis of HHT. HHT is a Genetic blood-vessel disorder. Dara tells how it affected her father and 4 siblings before it started affecting her two young children. Screening for HHT in the brain & lungs was carried out in HHT Centre, MUH, Cork. Subsequent treatment of the lungs was performed by Dr Adrian Brady.
