Hope for HHT Ireland
Hope Taylor for HHT Ireland – One Ice Pop at a Time! 🍦❤️
Meet Hope Taylor from Cramlington, Northumberland, UK— a determined, kind-hearted young girl with a big smile and an even bigger heart. Hope is a younger sister to Lily, who lives every day with the challenges of HHT (Hereditary Haemorrhagic Telangiectasia). Watching her sister face those hurdles has inspired Hope to take action in her own unique way.
So what did she do? She rolled up her sleeves along with some of her school pals, got permission from her school, and launched her very own Ice Pop Sale to raise money for not one, not two, but three charities close to her heart — and we’re incredibly proud to say that HHT Ireland was one of them!
With a colourful homemade sign, a sunny spirit, and scissors at the ready (to cut open those stubborn wrappers!), Hope set up shop in the schoolyard. Her friends rallied around her, proudly sporting bright red HHT Ireland wristbands — “Get Tested, Get Treated, Save a Life!” — while Hope got to work spreading awareness and handing out cool treats for a great cause.
The result? An amazing £317 raised in total! That means a fantastic £158.99 is coming straight to HHT Ireland, helping us continue our work supporting families, raising awareness, and driving research and advocacy forward.
As we gear up for Moveathon 2025, stories like Hope’s remind us why we move: for courage, for community, for change. Hope, you are a shining light — and truly a credit to your family. 💫
