Mourne 7x7 Challenge - in aid of HHT Ireland
The Challenge Ahead
Dean Robinson, Simon Kenny, Michael Green and Misha Paxton are deep into training for their Mourne 7×7 Challenge on August 8th — taking on all seven peaks of the Mourne Mountains in one continuous push.
This challenge will take over 12 hours (often more) over rough, demanding terrain, with serious elevation and distance to contend with. The views, the climbs, and the raw beauty of the mountains are exactly what they’ve been putting the miles in for.
A Taste of What's Coming
To give a glimpse of what’s ahead, they headed out for one of their toughest training hikes yet. Starting from Ott Car Park, they climbed Slieve Shanagh, cut across the stunning expanse of Ben Crom Reservoir, then pushed on to the summit of Slieve Binnian.
Only two peaks, but one of their toughest hikes yet — a real eye-opener for what’s coming in August.
And of course, Little Red came along for the fun, keeping spirits up and adding a bit of heart to the miles.

Dean, Simon, Michael and Kris are fundraising for HHT Ireland throughout this challenge. If you’d like to support them, every donation helps us continue to find, support, and stand with patients and families living with HHT. Every single bit of support truly makes a difference.
