Denis Naughten TD raises issues of Rare Diseases in Dáil Éireann
As you may be aware, February 29th marks Rare Disease Day, an important occasion to raise awareness of the many challenges that affect over 300,000 people living with a rare disease such as HHT in this country. In light of this, I wanted to share some important news with you.
Earlier this week, the “I Am Number 17” campaign was launched, highlighting the significance of rare diseases and the individuals who live with them.
In alignment with this initiative and in recognition of Rare Disease Day, Denis Naughten TD has expressed his intention to address the issue of rare diseases, including HHT, on the floor of Dáil Éireann during Leaders Questions next Wednesday, around 12.15pm.
Denis Naughten TD’s commitment to raising awareness and advocating for those affected by rare diseases is commendable, and his upcoming address presents a valuable opportunity for our community to be heard at a national level.
If you’re interested in tuning in to Denis Naughten’s address, you can watch it live on Oireachtas TV. This is an excellent opportunity for us to support and amplify the discussion surrounding rare diseases, including HHT.
Let us continue working together to raise awareness and support for those affected by rare diseases.
